Scientific NameStyela clava
Present from Northland to Tauranga, Porirua, Picton, Tarakohe, Nelson, Picton, Lyttelton and Otago Harbours.
This Asian seasquirt is brown with lumpy, leathery skin. Woody stalk, generally longer than the body, with longitudinal folds.
